Vortex Math – discovering 137

FEYNMAN-137Can gravity be modeled geometrically by squaring a simple 137-digit sequence inside a torus?   I think so…

Using Vortex Based Mathematics (VBM), I stumbled upon a simple numeric answer for where this number 137 comes from (it’s the same simple geometry that creates doubling and the Fibonacci sequence).  So, a simple numerical method in VBM connects the gravitational coupling constant with the fine structure constant.

That’s actually a big deal — Richard Feynman wrote famously, “Immediately you would like to know where this number for a coupling comes from: is it related to π or perhaps to the base of natural logarithms? Nobody knows. It’s one of the greatest damn mysteries of physics: a magic number that comes to us with no understanding by man. You might say the “hand of God” wrote that number, and “we don’t know how He pushed his pencil.”

If gravity can be modeled geometrically by squaring a simple 137-digit sequence inside a torus with golden ratio proportions, then it helps show why the number 137 is so prominent in our base 10 system – it sets the clock.  Amazingly, I don’t think anyone has ever asked this question, let alone modeled the answer mathematically.

In all likelihood, quaternion algebra (rather than VBM) will provide the foundational mathematics to model this answer.  But it does appear that VBM results model quite well, such as this video: Phi VBM Tori Array.

Basically, my finding re 137 is very simple (click here for the simple spreadsheet; or click here for the more detailed version)…

  • Step 1: Create a sequential number list in Excel (1, 2, 3…298)
  • Step 2: Multiple the fine structure constant (α = .0072927) by each number in step 1 sequentially.  For example, 24 x .0072927 = .17518248.gravitational-coupling-constant
  • Step 3: Notice that the digits for the gravitational coupling constant (g = .17518248) appear in sequence in the following iterations: 24, 25 34, 66, 71, 103, 112, 113.   And then the pattern starts over at iteration 161.  Some significant observations about this pattern:
    • It repeats infinitely every 137th iteration (i.e., 161 – 24 = 137).
    • Giving some credence to VBM methodology, the numbers 3, 6, and 9 are not represented in the gravitational coupling constant (1.17518248); also, in VBM these digits (171518248) always sum to 9 before repeating.
    • The gaps between micro iterations mirror one another: 1; 9, 32; 5; 32; 9; 1.  In other words, the gap between 24 and 25 = 1.  The gap between 25 and 34 = 9.  And so on until we find the repeating pattern: 1, 9, 32, 5, 32, 9, 1.  This pattern mirrors itself because 5 is in the middle, then outward 32, then 9, then 1.

VBM-iconIn VBM methodology, these numbers for the gravitational coupling constant 17518248 are a doubling sequence (which means multiplication going forward); and the reciprocal of these numbers (or going backwards) is halving (which means division).

Would it be possible to model mathematically that gravity is a squaring (multiplying forward) or a square-root (dividing backward) of a 137-iteration sequence inside a torus?

One of the problems with VBM is that guys who make coils haven’t been able to power a device yet with great results. I think that in order to self-power a device we need to take John Adams’ EF Table, fold it into a torus, and then set that shape inside a Phi VBM Tori Array, and also offset the center hole of the torus, just like the center “0” is offset on VBM’s iconic 2-d image (see circle above).

Extended Table and Pattern Match

The key to the whole thing is that the 137 sequence must begin upon the 24th iteration (in order to create gravity), and Adams’ EF Table provides that 24-iteration blueprint.  So the next step is to fold Adams’ table so it harmonizes with the Phi VBM Tori Array – different geometric models should produce different results.

Regarding practical applications, where to begin??  Cesium-137 is the most precise material known to man for atomic clocks. A toroid model based on the golden ratio (frictionless) would likely generate exact atomic sequencing.

I’ll update this post as I learn more and begin modelling results…

10/28/15 update

Life and nature and energy all move in arcs through tori.  This is why we draw the golden ratio spiral using arcs.

I think that eventually the 2-d archetype for VBM (which is ultimately quaternion algebra according to Willie Johnson Jr.) will be changed to arcs.  This is the basic model I’m using now to test theories…

VBM +9

The yellow star in the middle emphasizes the four quadrants.  Does each quadrant have its own if–>then rules for angular momentum?  According to Willie Johnson Jr., “gravity is the result of the magnetic moment (angular momentum vector) being forced into anti-alignment.” W. Johnson, The IJKs of Vortex Mathematics, pg. 49.

41_4I’m presently learning to use polygon modeling software that can build these models out in 3D and rotate them (in phi proportions) according to different rules.  But I’m new to this, so I’m learning slowly.

For example, when the number 10 is reached, it is not enough to simply add 1 + 0 = 1.  I don’t think anyone thinks the first decimal location just goes away, but rather somehow it signifies a shift in rotation and/or enlargement of the field.

Given the sheer number of possible if–>then rules that could apply to 8 arcs x 4 quadrants (x what else?), a computer is necessary to model results to see which ones actually match the one reality we observe.

For example, compare my initial models below to this magnetic field produced by a ferrocell — notice especially the beautiful arcs in golden ratio:

To my mind, numbers are just quantifying abstractions for energy flow. Numbers are like language in that way, something we invented (or inherited) to describe reality.  Arcs are closer to reality.

This next image uses arcs in golden ratio to model/match the ferrocell results, and this pattern ultimately shows a connection between VBM, the golden ratio, and the magnetic field:

In 3-d, these results would be modeled inside a torus, which is naturally closer to the reality of vortexes, as energy flows in figure 8 motion through the 8 arcs (+1, +2, +3, +4, -4, -3, -2, -1).base4

These are the same pattern, which is evidence that the magnetic field is a series of arcs rotating in golden spiral:

  1. The reason 137 has obsessed so many thinkers to try and find the math behind it is clear. Einstein wrote, “In a reasonable theory there are no numbers whose values are only empirically determinable.”

  2. and how will be a 4d model, i suggest you to try it in real life with magnets, and adapt a em driver, for that more than one spiral of magnets will be better, i think the aerial screw using a 2d model and combining 4 of them could help.

  4. Hello Greg,
It is very rare for someone to add something of real value to VBM so I want to say thank you right off the bat. I do have a comment to make about your figure-8 energy flow. Could the negative numbers simply be an indication of mirror symmetry? That way (-4,-3,-2,-1) would need to rotate in the opposite direction (clockwise) in your figure-8 diagram? It seems that is what is being implied by the way you colorized them in the “rotating” circle. A standing wave (first harmonic) would perform this “mirror” symmetry energy flow pattern. Just a thought. Great work!
